FC start FIFA Tournament for charity
1. FC Köln are starting a charity FIFA tournament in order to support organisations who provide important help during the Corona crisis. The games will be live on FC channels.
Hennes‘ kids named Marie and Luise
1. FC Köln fans and the Kölner Zoo have decided upon the names for Hennes‘ kids. The two small female kids will be called Marie and Luise, as a mark of respect to Köln Karneval legend, Marie-Luise Nikuta who passed away recently.
Training under special circumstances
After almost three weeks without team training, 1. FC Köln were back on the pitch on Monday. The authorities gave it the green light, so that the players could continue work. Naturally, FC paid attention to the rules and regulations surrounding hygiene and social distancing to protect against the Coronavirus.

FC players train behind closed doors
The 1. FC Köln players will return to training on Monday, but in small groups. Sessions will take place behind closed doors. The rules over distancing and hygiene will be kept strictly in place.
Karl-Heinz Thielen turns 80
Karl-Heinz Thielen is one of the most present and successful personalities in FC's history. He was a player for 13 years and a funtionary for 18 years at 1. FC Köln - meaning he experienced every single trophy in the club's history. On 2nd April, "Kalli" Thielen turns 80.
1. FC Köln want to help in the current crisis and are calling on fans to donate blood. FC Vice-President, Eckhard Sauren has already done his bit.
FC hand out help to the homeless
1. FC Köln have extended their support for those in need during the Coronavirus crisis. Twice a week, FC employees will hand out food and hygiene products to homeless people in Köln.
Disinfectant for Köln
FC and the 1. FC Köln Foundation have donated 500 litres of disinfectant to the Köln crisis team. This was possible thanks to a big personal effort and plenty of cunning, in the best way possible.
